Taiwan spirits return to the international stage! Amber Age 10-Year Agricultural Rum, distilled from local Taiwanese red sugarcane, showcases unique terroir and exquisite craftsmanship, earning dual recognition with gold medals from the 2025 San Francisco World Spirits Competition (SFWSC) (91 points) and the 2025 International Wine and Spirit Competition (IWSC) (95 points).

Taiwan enjoys advantageous tropical and subtropical climates, particularly suitable for oak barrel aging of spirits. Beyond climate benefits, Taiwan's abundant sugarcane resources provide ideal conditions for rum production. While early distilleries primarily used sugarcane molasses to produce white rum for the bar market, Amber Age took a distinctly different path.

Ten years ago, the distillery experimented with fermenting red sugarcane juice, creating a rare batch of "agricultural rum." With the international rum market already saturated with options, this batch was placed in barrels without special promotion, quietly stored in a corner of the distillery and gradually forgotten as time passed.
It wasn't until the distillery was organizing its oak barrel inventory that they unexpectedly opened this 10-year-aged rum, discovering a spirit with astonishing depth and complexity—an amber hue containing tropical fruit aromas, vanilla and woody notes, with a rich and full-bodied taste featuring caramelized sugarcane, dried longan, spices, and subtle smoky undertones, finishing with a long-lasting aftertaste.

This precious liquid was initially offered only as "barrel-side tastings" for distillery visitors, immediately earning rave reviews. Due to its limited quantity, the distillery had no intention of public sales. However, after submission to international competitions, Amber Age unexpectedly won double gold honors, sparking desire among many spirits enthusiasts to collect this fine rum.
The "Amber Age" features a thoughtfully designed stone bottle, inspired by the resilient and timeless qualities of rock. The stone symbolizes the refinement of time and the power of nature, much like the profound complexity this agricultural rum develops through years of aging. The bottle's texture provides a steady, substantial feel, allowing drinkers to experience a sense of earthiness and temporal weight the moment they open it.
This design is not merely a bottle but an artistic vessel, conveying Amber Age's respect for traditional craftsmanship and its interpretation of the interweaving of "time, nature, and memory." It invites each drinker to treasure this story of passing years in their hands, savoring the eternal imprint of the Amber Age.
Amber Age 10-Year Agricultural Rum debuts in unique "book-style packaging," conceptualized as opening a long-sealed chapter. The moment one lifts the box lid, it's like turning the page of a classic book carrying the significance of an era, not only revealing the story of this rum but also allowing drinkers to feel the years and value it carries. This special packaging is more than a container; it's a symbol: transforming Amber Age's decade of time into a chapter worth collecting. While savoring the spirit, consumers can also treasure this meaningful journey of the distillery in their hearts, as if owning a personal piece of the Amber Age.

Coinciding with the distillery's twentieth anniversary, Amber Age was selected as a commemorative work, symbolizing the distillery's new milestone from experimental spirit to international stage. Amber Age 10-Year Agricultural Rum is globally limited to 50 bottles, priced at NTD 8,800. This is not only Taiwan's longest-aged agricultural rum but also a precious gift from Taiwan's land and time, marking Taiwan spirits' solid footprint on the international stage.
