This whisky is crafted using the distillery's most distinctive fruit liqueur ?? Kumquat Liqueur ?? to season the casks. The whisky is initially aged for three months in new American oak barrels, transforming the oak into "kumquat casks." The original spirit is then transferred into the kumquat-seasoned casks for an additional three months of maturation, completing this unique cask aging process.
